如果最近的相关报道都是真实的话，苹果很快就会放出自己的3D地图服务，进而取代iPhone中的Google地图功能。苹果要推出新的地图服务是有很多原因的，比如说要降低自家智能手机对竞争对手的依赖，发布新的定位功能，增加销售广告和寻找商业定位伙伴。一旦这项功能在智能手机上可用的话，iPhone用户无疑是这个服务使用量的领先者。
最近comScore针对欧洲手机用户使用地图功能的情况做了一份调查报告，还是值得一看的。根据2012年3月的数据，在法国、德国、意大利、西班牙和英国这五个国家里，共有3980万个用户通过移动设备使用地图服务，占智能手机用户总数的35%，当中有40.2%的人是英国人。跟去年比起来，智能手机地图服务使用量增加了55%。有趣的是，从Google地图服务使用情况来看，Android手机仅占总数的39.8%，而苹果手机却达到了53.4%！
苹果也许掌握了比comScore更精准的用户使用数据，他们自然能察觉到越来越多的iPhone用户正在使用其竞争对手提供的服务。不过有一点更应该引起苹果的注意：在许多iOS地图应用里，Google没有获得苹果事先批准的情况下就显示了很多赞助广告链接！

本周早些时候，我们看到不少媒体对苹果的新地图进行了报道。通过软件的截图我们看到了苹果自家3D地图一些新特征，比如说放弃了熟悉的蓝色iOS配色方案。从comScore的欧洲用户使用地图服务的数据来看，未来将会有更多的手机用户会使用地图功能，所以苹果还是很有必要推出自家的3D地图服务。他们甚至还可以加上一些Google目前所没有的功能，比如说卫星导航功能，从而掠夺其他地图的市场份额。
今年的苹果WWDC大会即将来临，到时该公司肯定会推出新的操作系统、软件应用程序和服务。虽然目前还没有透露过多的细节，但是我们相信3D地图服务一定是整个大会上的重磅炸弹！
